Mine was waiting for me when I got home today. It does have a nice heft and a little playing around indicates that it is going to be very helpful.

I wouldn't mind having another similar tool about 3/4 the length with a hemisphere on each end (half size hemisphere on the tapered end).

Anyway, I look forward to using this one on the L-5s and the Peder Skram (the D-A-N-I-S-H ship).

Don

Ok - I've gotta wait a bit for the budget to allow me to get one of these, but am I the only one that gets the urge to run to their local Cinnabun (or equivalent) every time I read this thread now? :D

I was trying to avoid thinking of pastry hulls filled with cream cheese and fruit, yes

Don

RollyStyk Jr. About 6in (150mm) long, same diameter, same degree of taper, not sharp, but with a 1/8 (3+mm) hemispherical tip.

Certainly do-able, unfortunately the material costs aren't a major part of the cost, it's labor, so cost would be pretty much the same.

I was thinking of the smaller size in terms of ease of use, not price. I think that if the price was the same, it would be entirely reasonable. Count me in if you decide to go into production of RollyStyk Jr.

Don
(Who anticipates a prune Danish and strong coffee while using the RollyStyk to deal with Peder Skram, who probably spelled it D-A-N-S-K, Ash's former inamorata to the contrary notwithstanding.)(Modtag min undskyldning, Aske.)

Just a bump to remind folks that RollyStyks are still available. Final price worked out to be USD 7.49 plus $2 post to the US and $3 to the rest of the world.
