Glue Help For An Aussie

Hi All,
Some help please? Especially from any Aussies.

I'm currently using a Selleys Craft (paper & cardboard) Glue - great to work with but over a short period of time the models are falling to pieces.

Could it be a heat & light issue?

Any recommendations for glues I can get in Australia or do I need to go overseas?

Thanks
Graham in Adelaide

Graham - I think there is already a thread running at the moment about glue

Personally I use standard PVA (white glue) for most things.

Trick is not to use too much.

Hope this helps

Tim

Hi, I use Bostik gluepens. I get mine from Big W, they are abit small so I go through a fair few of them but all the models I have made have stood up to time anf wear and tear. they are designed for school and arts/crafts so give a fine line, they have introduced a new container with a wide applicator on one end which can be useful on some of the larger applications, I also find they don't warp thinner paper od even the card as much as the other glues I've tried.

Good luck and happ modelling!!

Hi mate

I also use standard PVA (white glue) for all my models & don't have any problems.
A couple of years ago I transfered some models from my office, (which I try to keep as much sunlight out as i can) to my colourbond shed & over a short time the models faded & fell apart. You may well have a heat or light problem.

good luck.
