Question Help with these finishing sprays?

So I was looking at the Krylon website for a finishing spray to harden/protect my paper models, and i found these two.

Krylon Matte Finish

Preserve It!® Digital Photo & Paper Protectant
(no links sorry. search them up if you can)

I can't really decide between these two. reviews on the internet aren't very specific. some advice?

also, some other brands are good too if they worked for you. I live in the US.

thanks.

Depending on what I'm doing a build of, I either use Krylon Clear Matte or Clear Gloss. Both work well. I have no experience with the Preserve It! product

Another note, I build models that I print from online. So mainly something that wont blur or make the printer ink run.

with the Krylon products I use, I give a light coat (sometimes two) outside. The light coating helps prevent blurring and smudging. It also helps when I have an 'excess-glue' error. Then I give the models one or two more light coats after the build.

While I guess it's a good idea, I've never sprayed my models after assembly. I spray the paper sheets before I cut anything to prevent ink smudges during construction. I always worry about side panels warping.

The Krylon can I have is 'KAMAR VARNISH 1312' for oil, acrylic, or watercolor paintings.
It works fine on my HPinkjet printouts, no bleeding and good glue bonding.

Do NOT use the matte finish! It will make your models look awful. And be sure to follow the instructions to the letter - that's some dangerous stuff there!

I use Krylon UV-resitant gloss before cutting and after to protect the finish and keep models from fading. For matte finishes, never use the Krylon products. They will frost like crazy. I have had great success with Testors dullcote for matte finishes.
