If one does not want to adjust the bulkheads, you can choose to laminate except where there are bulkheads located. Mark the bulkhead locations on the underside of the deck and laminate everything except the locations where the bulkheads are located. Doing that adds considerable strength without having to make any adjustments.

that would and should work in theory. What i didn't think of in JSC kits they make the skeleton of the hull a 3d solid structure, in other words if they printed the hull details on this solid structure you would have the ship hull. Reinforcing the area in between the inside bulheads up by the deck would sorta work if the ship were not too long. the caveat here is the area might just buckle the same way as if the hull length was like a string of railroad cars. given a cardboard reinforce would lessen the effect, just advocating here.
