Thanks Webdude. Setting it to the default printer is all that was needed. Should have just tried that :(

@Ron - I just used LPT1. The important part is that the printer be paused so Windows doesn't actually try to print it, so the port is kind of irrelevant.

Also, if you run that IE page through Google Translate it translates pretty well, and there is a fair list of settings it runs through. The main one is to make sure your security level is Medium-High or Lower. All the other settings on mine were okay.

It's an occasional "Japan thing". Chalk it up to cultural differences and leave it at that. It is what it is.

Many thanks, with your tips and advice, I was able to get the files downloaded (all three models!).

My daughter is already after me to build Godzilla!

Best Regards,

GREAT, Ron! If you start the build please make a thread on it; I'd love to see the model without the white lines all over it!

Unfortunately, the downloaded model has the white fold lines. I'll try to cover them up when I build it (yep, I'll have to start a thread). I don't have the recoloring skills to change the PDFs.

Thanks!

Yep, I was referring to painting the edges of the final build (not to altering the plans). I guess this will improve the model quite a bit and would make it look much better.
