If you can not find some like what was pictured earlier in the thread try looking at some flat jaw welding pliers.

a380, sorry its been a few years since I've been to any shows over there. He used to do the OrangeCon from IPMS-Orange County.
The beading shop sounds like a good possible source, maybe even a Michael's or JoAnn's. |

Dear A380:
You may also find the pliers at a Harbor Freight Tools Store. I looked where in the world you are first before suggesting the store. Enjoy the hobby and ask questions, Miles |

Harbor freight will most likely only have duckbill pliers with serrations in them.
both JoAnn's and Michael's will have those smooth duckbilled pliers needed for paperwork and beading. Mac |

Folding
Folding card stock is the bane of this hobby. Cutting is easy. Folding, on the other hand is a pain!
Success depends on the thickness of the card stock, the shape of the resulting fold (sharp vs rounded) and the tool you are employing for scoring! I don't think one can avoid tearing the paper fibres no matter what you do, or how careful you are. Using a brake probably gives you the most control. If I have to fold small parts, I'll sometimes coat the exposed edges with a small amount of PVA just to seal the paper and to avoid the delamination that often takes place with these small pieces! Good folding to one and all! |
