Helping Hands with LED light

Found this at the local Harbor Freight Tools store.
Jumbo Helping Hands with LED Lights

You can leave the alligator clips off and just use the magnifier and light. The light is integral to the magnifier lens frame and provides good lighting. There is a small disc with increased magnification on the larger lens. The base is heavy cast iron with an open compartment that can be used to hold small parts. The original use for the compartment is to hold a wet sponge to clean a soldering iron.

It helps me old eyes to see thangs.

Doug,
Thanks for the tip. I've been meaning to ask: I get the Eamus Catuli (Cubs?) and the Audere est Facere (Hotspurs?) but what on earth is AC0669106 and ego ago pro AC0000000?
Phil

AC0669106
AC: Anno Catuli - in the year of the Cubs(or something close)
06: years since a division title
69: years since a National League pennant
106: years since winning the World Series
So you add 1 to each number every year the frustration continues.

ego ago pro AC0000000 means something like I will give thanks for the year of the Cubs to reset to all zeros.
That will happen when the Cubs win the World Series again finally, then we can start another century+ wait.
I saw it in some Chicago sports writer's blog a few years ago.

Wait till next year, only there aren't many next years left for a lot of Cubs fans.

Harbor Freight has some. The web site shows a store in Richland and Spokane.

There might be some in a hobby store but you would probably pay a premium price.

Look online for magnifying visor with led lights. Some have a single light in the middle. Some have dual lights, one on each side. Widget Supply has a Deluxe LED Lighted Visor Magnifier w/Eye Loupe (SKU: XQB1-1047L) where you can swivel the center mounted led lights a few degrees to the left and right. There is a flip down plate with increased magnification in addition to an eye loupe mounted on the outside. I have that one. Works OK.
