Minwax Wood Hardener Test

Curious if others have tried this for their projects?

Checked and the project I used this stuff on is still holding together and is not degrading in any way.

Getting ready to try it on a huge test build.

I've never tried Minwax, but I always spray my printed cardstock with Krylon clear satin finish paint before building. I spray on a couple of coats so it soaks through the paper. It still glues well and you can clean off excess glue with a dab of spit on your finger without messing up the paper.

Ohh waterproofing, cool! That sounds really promising.
But wait - it makes paper shiny and translucent, but doesn't bleed the ink, right? So applying it to a finished model would make it translucent and shiny or does it dry to invisibility?

No, it doesn't make the paper translucent - well slightly, while it's wet - but it's not translucent when it's dry. I also give it another couple of coats after the model is finished. Gives it a satin shine, but the paper is still opaque.
