What protection do you use!!!?
I have one card model at least, possibly more, that I need/want to protect from and seal against moisture, dirt etc. I saw some enamel spray in my local Hobbycraft recently and thought I might try that, but what do you guys use?

I use Games Workshop's Purity Seal Spray.
This is a satin or semi-matt varnish and is really excellent. It is expensive, but it works, and a can goes a long long way . https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US...l-Spray-Global Available around the world from War Hammer/Games Workshops. i actually settled oin this after trying hair spray, hobby sprays etc. etc.

The second security models do not expose to the sun. Henryk |

Krylon UV-resistant matt finish sprayed on the sheets before starting construction.

Spraying the sheets before construction doesn't affect gluing???

John - Not significantly in my experience, although it does improve my ability to brush PVA glue off from inappropriate places. Don

I'm with Don in using the Krylon. I do use the gloss finish also on civilian vehicles and it can be a bit harder to glue. The plus is it makes it even easier to get PVA off if you get it in the wrong spot.

I see. I've been printing on a colour laserjet at work where I buy the toner.
What I like about the laserjet printed sheets is I can wet my finger and rub off traces of PVA glue. Toner doesn't bleed when wet. But I bought the R2-D2 paper model book and the Elmer's Glue I use is almost useless on those gloss sheets. I was peeling off the gloss coating from my gluetabs, but then I was getting peeling from the edges. So I gave up on that one. But I never considered spaying the sheets before gluing. |

Hmmm. Never run into the type of problem you mention, bit I suspect the solution you suggest would work well. Must remember it if I ever end up with a gloss kit!

I use plain old spray Artist's Matte Medium from any supply center. A couple light covers and it seems to be fine. no bleeds or runs.
