Well the scalpel blades arrived during the week.

I tried one this evening - perfect fit. Also covers a portion of the back of the blade.

Note if the blade was a fraction wider it would not fit in, so my guess is that only blades that would fit in a Number 3 Scalpel Handle will go into these knives.

Well here is a pic of the fit of a number 11 scalpel blade in the knife.

Pretty secure and should resist snapping. See the Koolwheelz thread in this forum for the knife assembled with this blade.
