UK card/paper stock suppliers

Hi All,

I'm hoping for some pointers from you UK paper modellers please. I'm new to paper modelling and I want to create small scale models, for example a steampunk style boat of approx 85 mm in length. The problem I've been finding is the card I've used seems to split/delaminate when I try and create curved strips for building up the hull. Could anyone suggest a card type/make that doesn't do this?

FYI I want to make it out of buff coloured or a 'kraft' card/paper.

Many thanks.

I use a 200 gsm matte coated paper high resolution paper from The Big Printer Co Ltd, Unit 4d Sutton Mill. Gunco Lane, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK11 7JL.

I got mine through Amazon.
I find it suitable for all purposes and It prints out vibrant colours on my Epson A3 XP-960 printer.
I am at the Model Show in Poynton, Ches. in December demonstrating card modelling which is not very far from Saddleworth.

Recently bought some card from thepaperbox.co.uk, they were recommended to me from someone who's been using them a lot in the past.
