UK card/paper stock suppliers
Hi All,
I'm hoping for some pointers from you UK paper modellers please. I'm new to paper modelling and I want to create small scale models, for example a steampunk style boat of approx 85 mm in length. The problem I've been finding is the card I've used seems to split/delaminate when I try and create curved strips for building up the hull. Could anyone suggest a card type/make that doesn't do this? FYI I want to make it out of buff coloured or a 'kraft' card/paper. Many thanks. |

I use a 200 gsm matte coated paper high resolution paper from The Big Printer Co Ltd, Unit 4d Sutton Mill. Gunco Lane, Macclesfield, Cheshire SK11 7JL.
email - [email protected] I got mine through Amazon. I find it suitable for all purposes and It prints out vibrant colours on my Epson A3 XP-960 printer. I am at the Model Show in Poynton, Ches. in December demonstrating card modelling which is not very far from Saddleworth. Bob |

Recently bought some card from thepaperbox.co.uk, they were recommended to me from someone who's been using them a lot in the past.
