Maly Modelarz In Toronto

I hope this tidbits of information might be useful for all you guys in and around Toronto. I just found out that the Starsky supermarket is selling Maly Modelarz new issues as soon as they published.

There is a newsstand inside the supermarket where you can find it on shelves.
A little exclaimer, I’ve only been to their Dundas St. East store in Mississauga so can’t voucher for other locations having newspaper stands there too.

On Sunday got myself the latest issue #4-5-6 2013... funny because it looks like Maly Modelarz clock is more than 3 years behind everybody else...

OK GUYS I HAVE THREAD ON SELLING ALL MY OLD MMs from 1957 and have sold most to someone in Poland. So who thought a 7 hour drive to Toronto/I live near Cleveland,Ohio would get me new ones . the next issue is the Endeavor/Cook's ship and to follow by Cant Z 506B, so anyone up for trades or wish to buy? As postage to Canada is much cheaper than Poland last package to poland cost me $55 and that is our dollars!!

All three Starsky stores have been selling Polish publications for some time.
This includes Maly and other Model kits, as well as the Magazine publications.

Its hit and miss as to what you might find, so you need to check regularly at all locations.

I'm not a big fan of Maly Modelarz kits, but some of the recent ones are OK. So I'm very selective.

I too have kits from various Polish publishers and willing to trade as well.

I may take a ride there , but it sounds like I'll spend more money driving their ,

But it should be fun to check it out

Smile I went there yesterday

I jumped off the healthy food wagon and went to Starsky's to load up on Polish Kielbasa, herring, kapusta, half sour pickles, perogies, poppy seed roll and yes, I purchased one of the last Maly Modelarz Me-109G Trop kits even though I did not need it. The crazy thing is that the sales lady said they get the kits every 3 months, but this kit dates back to 2013, so I don't get it?

And now that my arteries are filled with useless schmaltz, and my once in 10 years return to my ethnic food roots, I can go back to reality.

Interesting place to visit and shop. In addition to the kits , they have lots of aviation magazines ( but all in Polish ).

Anyone wants to trade for the Me-109 ?

Will be bringing many of my build-ups to convention in D.C. and hope to show that the oldies were very colorful and easy to make rather than the newer ones. These were made over 30 years ago before the emodels and internet pirate downloads!! Joe from Ohio

Smile

Enjoy the meeting. I can't make it this year.

For me, I am done with the old kits. They served me well many many years ago and I have a taste for a more realistic looking model with better paint job.

I'll list the ones I have that I no longer have any intentions of building. But I am particular in what I'm willing to trade for. Only jets and only recent development and issues.
