The crazy thing is that the sales lady said they get the kits every 3 months, but this kit dates back to 2013, so I don't get it?
MM used to be and I believe still consider itself a monthly magazine. Except now new issues come out every 3 months so in reality we are getting monthly magazine published quarterly....

I could be wrong, but seems like in the nineties it run into some sort of publishing problems, short on founds or designers or both, which resulted in delays which today amounts to be more than 3 years behind.

Yes every 3 months, but why are they selling this Me-109 kit dated from 2013? They should sell the latest copies?

Glad you are enjoying the oldies. They are fun to build as well.

For me, I like accuracy and the old ones are lacking in that department. I am not a collector of kits either. I just like to build.

Thanks

Isaac

For what I can tell the Me-109 kit dated from 2013 is the latest model from Maly. The year does not appear to do anything other than act as a way to indicate where in the sequence of releases the subject model falls.

Something I’ve been trying to say, obviously not very eloquently, right from my initial post: April-May-June 2013 issue it is their latest issue. This is how far their publishing timetable is limping behind. Wonder they are still in business...

I understood what you meant Darius.

Just trying to emphasize your point.

You even know how to spell your own name which appears to be a skill eluding me....

Oh well, back to the future with Maly Modelarz.

Like having cassette recorders in the days of the internet. Ancient philosophy.

I'll stick with publishers that care.

I've checked all the magazine shops in NYC and no one has even heard of these. I showed them pictures and all, but nope, no one knows anything about them. Such a shame.

Try again but this time look for Polish supermarkets or just a small market-deli, some of them carry polish magazines. There is a good chance they might have Maly Modelarz or direct you to store that carry it. I’m sure there must be one company that imports all these magazines to the North America.
