Hull Frame Fairing Questions

Being new to Card Modelling I'd like to know if there are any special things I need to do, or be aware of, when Fairing the Hull Frames. I don't mean what shape to make them, I'm quite adept at that part from my years of Wooden ship building.

I'm talking about whether the frames need any pre-treatment (CA glue on the edges for example) prior to sanding, what type/grade of sandpaper to use, whether to add extra support for the hull skin and how to go about it - stuff like that.

Can anyone point me in the right directions please? If there's a Tutorial on this subject, where do I look for it?

Cheers, Danny
