Dick Blick Studio Artists' Colored Pencils set of 12 Grey
Hi all,
I came across this offer in a Dick Blick email. A set of 12 Grey coloring pencils, 6 Cool, 6 Warm. The website has a set for $10.29 You could buy the pencils individually for $0.85 right now https://www.dickblick.com/items/22063-2129/ I have yet to buy this set, I have been keeping an eye on Amazon, seeing if it might be posted there. There has been multiple mentions of using grey coloring pencils or pastels to hide the white edge, maybe this will help someone. Please consider giving a review of the pencils if you do decide to buy a set. Rick

I use gray markers, but grays work with any colour to darken the edges and make them less visible without resorting to a clashing or inconsistent colour match.
Also, watch for Tombow double ended brush markers. They aren't overly expensive and come in sets...such as Grays.

I've just returned from Blick's with my new set of 12 grey pencils. Haven't had a chance to test on a model yet, but on scrap pieces I get a good feeling.
