Wrist Rest
I use an auto wax & protectant applicator pad for wrist rest comfort.
Found them at the 99Cent store. |

This is a great idea.
I wonder whats inside the applicator? The outer fabric is the same as sweatbands. Proper Gel supports are a really good thing...I used to use one constantly. My problem is the amount of movement I do. I couldn't move the support around with me as a I traveled around the mousepad. My mouse travels a lot. Even my Mousepad is 24" wide to accomodate my movements when working! I probably need 12" of clear area to work. At one point I used a 14" long Gel support that sat at the edge of my desk. But it got dirty and sweaty, so I stopped using it. And I never got around to buying a replacement, so eventually I got used to no support. I'm okay most of the time now...its all about wrist training... but for gaming, I tend to rub my wrist into the edge of the desk, so I wear a padded wrist thingy. Its just a stretchy cloth wrist-sweatband to cover and stop rubbing. Basically the same fabric as your applicator pad!

Actually Dave, I went into a gaming shop the other day to see what they have, as I use gaming keyboard and mice for everyday work (cheaper and great quality compared to the work stuff) and they have these great gaming mats - 3 X 2 foot. The idea is that you plonk your keyboard on top and then "mouse around". Not expensive either.
And decent quality for accurate movement.

Believe it or not, silicon gel implant is pretty good since it can roll a little instead of sliding. Not good for larger mouse movement. Just worry about it rupturing. My wife brought one home as a gag.
