Question How to open .PDO file on Android?

I don't have ready access to SWMBO's PC. Is there an Android app I can install to open .PDO files? The Play Store doesn't seem to know what that is (Of course, neither do I)

in a short answer, nope, no app

PDO wasn't, or hasn't been developed for a mobile operating system, Android or iOS, not sure if it could work on a Windows based tablet, but it would be the only one I would guess.

Maybe in the future Tamasoft might release a mobile OS version, but until such time, there is no way to do what you want

Thanx. I will have to sneak in there when she isn't looking.

Not very helpful really ... but it is possible to convert a .pdo file into .pdf format.
HOWEVER ... you still need a Pepakura program running on a PC to achieve it.

Pepakura - Convert PDO to PDF: 4 Steps

I do have access to a Windows 10 tablet. Never occurred to me to try running Pepakura on it though. I'll have to charge it up and have a try. If I can remember where I put it that is. it was pushed aside as probably not worth bothering with some months ago. Can't be far away, but it's not jumping out at me.

I managed to install and run Pepakura on an ancient laptop running an obscure version of Linux, but it wasn't trivial to get it running and it doesn't display the textures properly in the unfolded pages most of the time, though they come out O.K. on the PDF?!?

Cheers,

John Gay
