I have one at it works great. Better than tweezers for some parts.

It looks a lot like a modified ink pen.

Howdy,
Thanks for neat tool subject. Have you noticed that tiny paper parts suspiciously and quietly depart our work surface? Unlike photo etched parts pinging throughout the area, letting us know where they may have landed? BP |

I just picked one up at Hobby Lobby. With the 40% off coupon it came in just under six bucks.
I'll report back after I have a chance to use it. |

Great minds...
My litter bin's in the same place... I've sneezed a few small bits into the bin!

I find myself using this tool a bit more primarily to hold small parts when painting their edges. Depending on the size, I do find it a bit too tacky to release from the part when gluing to another piece.

This answers a question I was going to ask... I was wondering if this would be handy for applying lasercut bolts and rivets etc, I currently use a pair of tweezers , just one tip, moistened (aka licked) as I don't always have a lot of luck picking the smaller ones up with pointy tweezers.

The pick up tool helped position those tiny bolt heads. BP |

Cool tool ,Great for placing tiny detail bits. I think I recognise the model you’re building... Alvis Saladin mk2 ?
