This Aleene’s glue is amazing! I can make glue dots for my scrapbooking and card-making projects on nonstick surfaces such as wax and parchment paper. Surprisingly, one bottle may make hundreds of glue dots, indicating that it contains a substantial amount of adhesive! For paper-to-paper applications, I use this glue as a permanent adhesive. I think it is best glues for paper crafts and DIY projects.

I am allowing this post, even though it feels spammy, but the information is pretty good, and there are some glues I haven't heard of, and might be worth checking out

Here’s something to think about, how you apply the glue is as important as the glue itself.

In the U.S., Elmer's Glue All is inexpensive, is sold everywhere, and is perfect for most paper model applications. I don't know how well it adheres to nonporous materials. It works well for lamination if the part is pressed under a heavy book or something until the glue is thoroughly dry.

For porous to non-porous surfaces I would suggest Crafters Pick. It's supposed to be a water based super glue.
