Cutting tiny parts.
Blue masking tape rolled over sticky side up.
Handily holding those tiny parts ; in this case part # 13 for the Italian SLC Two Man Submarine. BP |

I've used the http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/264044-post37.html smallest size of Post-it notes for holding batches of parts to be painted; the area not covered in adhesive is not completely wasted, being both a convenient handle to hold and a mixing palette.

I usually tap the blue tape on my trouser leg once or twice; it slightly reduces the tack of the tape so I don't end up destroying the pieces.
