Straight Paper Hose or Pipe.

Straight Paper Hose or Pipe.

Actually there are many possible uses such as Cyanoacrylate strengthened
landing gear struts.

Choose your wire thickness for needed size.

20 LB Paper used here.

Photographs:

#1 Burnish straight line

#2 Add Glue and fold over wire.

#3 Using fingernail press paper tight against wire both sides.

Remove wire and allow glue to dry.

#4 Reinsert wire and paint, Water color paint used here.

Remove wire and allow water color to dry.

Note:
Close up photo shows a resulting fuzzy paper surface useable as is, in some instances. Not to worry if a smooth surface is required.

#5 Reinsert wire and cut away paper excess.

#6 Dullcote or Glosscote coatings will cause fuzzies to disappear.

Remove wire.

#7 End Opening
