What does WPS mean?

Hi all,
Sorry if I'm in the wrong Forum but I thought this one the most appropriate.

I've made several kits from Halinski and am wondering why they usually use the "scissors" icon for cutting and other times they use "WPS" (see pic below). Does "WPS" have any special significance in Polish, or am I missing something?

Cheers, Danny
