paper weights

What in American lb would 80 and 140gr be? Noticed that when you down load a kit. They either have the Euro version or American 110 lb. But, looking at kits from JSC, and others.etc the paper they use doesn't look like 110 paper thanks

80grm would be 20-24lb bond or ledger. 140grm would be roughly 36lb bond or ledger.

110 lb is a thin card.

You can check your paper conversions here.

But jrw, what are you trying to do or find out here?

If you download a kit and "the Euro" version is grams, use this if you are in Europe or the UK. If the kit has 110 lb as an alternative and you are in the US, then use that!

Don't worry about what paper may be used by other manufacturers. Their paper thickness will vary anyway depending in the type and scale of the model...

Ok! Use the link I gave you going forward.

And where you have a choice of weights go maybe for the lighter - always easier to work with.

I agree as well - the two different papers are a real mess...
