Scissors and planes recolour help

Hi just started getting addicted with bruno’s models. Now i would love and would be really helpful to understand how to recolour a model starting from a white plane model. I saw a guide about a recolour but it was pre built models, so for example it was a lufthansa model. How can i recolour a white plane starting from nothing a part from an image of a livery that i saw on the internet? Any help is really appreciated

I usually start with any stripes on fuselage because those are the hardest to make line up properly. From there all other parts follow. I leave national marking for very last step.
