Wire parts 40 MM Bofors

Howdy,

Is there a jeweler among us willing to share tricks assembling tiny wire parts.

Bofors 40MM twin Anti Aircraft Gun

Pictures:

I tried drilling the tiny gun sight paper part intending to reinforce it with a cyanoacrylate coating. Didn’t work.

Next made simulated sights out of thin paper strips. Ya, not an exact replica but it works good enough for me.

I used Rapid Fuse and Insta Set

Much appreciated. I can use the technique for my minis.
And I approve the use of wire and paper!

Bob,

I would suggest that you print these parts on clear laserjet transparency film. you can get this at most office supply stores. Kelly Paper will often sell you one sheet to try out.
