2 oz. bottles I like. A small chore to refill. My wife ordered off amazon, so now we have an 8 oz. bottle. Should last my lifetime.

The upside-down bottle is also larger capacity for the same money!
Its the only one I buy. Try Michaels Craft Store.

I keep mine upside down in a toilet roll tube

The smaller size does fit in a toilet roll tube, true, but to do the same with the 5 fl.oz size one needs a slightly larger diameter size tube such as a Christmas wrapping paper tube (unless of course one has snagged the handy dandy version from Michael's).

I am curious about the cardboard roll solutions. How do you mount them to something to keep them from toppling? This would be very top heavy. My coffee mug solution has enough heft to keep things from falling over. Just curious

Vermin, mount the tube on a 2 1/2 inches square piece of reasonably thick card. I think a member actually came up with this solution several months ago.

It all sounds a bit complicated to me ...I go along with Doug's idea ... stick it in a bit of styrofoam. ... Simples!

But a coffee mug doesn't have to be hollowed out ...
Of course, when we all get spout-down bottles, this will all be moot

Which does raise the point ... where can ya get them in UK? I've never seen Aleene's of any shape or size over here. but you have to allow for the fact that I live in a remote mountain village in Bandit Country, and don't get out much.
