I got a sample package of it. It cuts very nicely, glues well, sands beautifully and doesn't seem to delaminate. I can't speak to the steam bending.

It looks like the price has come down and it's more widely available. I may have to get some more

Meant to follow up on this. Received my sample pack the other day. 1/32nd, 1/16th, 3/32nd, and 1/8th inch thick sheets in the envelope. The 1/8th sheet is actually two 1/16th sheets glued together. Haven't tried to use it for anything yet but my first impression is that it has a consistency and feel very similar to the Crescent mat board I like to use. However, the surface is very rough when compared to mat board. Seems to cut similar as well.

I'll see if I can't integrate some of this stuff into my current build to see how it glues, etc. As it stands, not too terribly impressed, particularly given the price of this stuff versus what I pay for a sheet of mat board. About he only advantage I can see is that Task Board come in four thicknesses, which could be useful.

Just wondering if anyone has had any more impressions on the applicability of this product for items like cowlings, spinners, canopies (?) or any other tight curvature 3D items. Thanks.

You were probably thinking about this post by "DeadlyTedly" in the thread "DHC-1 Chipmunk WAK model enlarged to 1:16". - L.

I started using taskboard here.
Will Aldridge Military Corsair with Folding Wings

It is a fine product but I went back to cereal box cardboard after I ran out of taskboard supply. I used it for formers. It did delaminate at times, but I fixed that with a touch of superglue. cuts very easy, you do however have to pay attention to the grain when bending or forming curves.

This appears to be what is used for Precut Laser Cut Formers.
I have only ever used one Former set (so far) ...on my Modelik GeeBee build
and it looks like the exact same material.

I was curious about the material, now I know.
