Converting flightsim models to papermodels

I often find pics like this on the internet :

Now doesn't it look easy to convert these into papermodels ?

Anybody here has experience in doing this ?

Well, that one looks like you could just print cut and glue. Have you given it a shot?

The flight sim "skins" are designed to compensate for curved surfaces and 3D angles, so in most cases, you couldn't just cut and build.

You can however pull out some textures and artwork.
only problem is, the skins are usually pretty low res.

One thing you can do, is make friends with a guy who does skins
and swap artwork and info (like I do!)

Hi there, you could try to convert jpg images to PDF, depending on the program that improves the resolution, here is a free portable.

JPEG to PDF – Convert JPG to PDF | Portable USB Pen Drive Applications
