O yeah, that is awesome.

Even naked guys would be very useful for me right now. This is essentially how I am building your clone figures right now:

1. build an blank inner figurine
2. add the armor output

but the going is very slow and this would significantly speed up the process.

I dont mean to hijack this thread, but I am just showing that there will be a high demand for 1:48 WWII military figures too

:D

Oh, I intend to add WWII to the mix eventually. For now I'll be haphazardly be following my own wayward desires, but they are on the list (along with Medieval knights and men-at-arms).

I've figured out approximate sizes for weaponry from the Colonial marines (of Aliens)
a 1:50 m41-a pulse rifle (you know from Aliens) would be (if my calculations are correct)
the 1:1 model being 3feet =~ 1 meter
1 Meter/50 = 2 cm.
an m41-A pulse rifle in the scale of the paper protagonist would be about 2 cm
and the smartgun, also from aliens would be around 3 or 4 cm.

:D - Believe me, Colonial Marines are up high on the list of models, or at least close approximations. I have rescaled the 1:24 APC from the Aliens papercraft site up to 1:50 (second attempt, bad math ended up with a 1:72 (or so)), and have a keen intent to model the interior. It is however, after paper-replika's ARC-170 (modding for Landing gear, interior cockpits and (if I feel crazy) moving wings), and possibly after FlareBaffled's (from the other site... ) Baneblade (modding for interior turret and opening side-doors).

Any really good 3rd-Angle projection shots you have of the equipment would be greatly appreciated though!

Thank you,
Sean

I sometime fear I juggle too many projects... nah, that's not possible!

I have, at long last, assembled the latest mod of the protagonist. Very basic textures, and the shoulder join worked...ok.. I have already made mods that I think will be the final changes and will start texturing soon. The hair... worked, and for now I will not modify the design. I have good shots of the ARC Pilot outfit now, as well as the helmet, so I will start on that soon.

What you see here is one posed in the rough area of the ARC cockpit, and one posed beside my newest design, the 1:50 Astromech Droid (see thread here). I made it especially for this build.

Enjoy!
Sean

to me, your test figures would look welcome in an enterprise bridge, all they're missing is the starfleet insignia. BTW nice P-R arc fighter.

These are really cool little figures, there's real potential there. I'm glad you're posting them here.
