I've been playing around with inkscape modifying the modelart P-51 and have been searching tutorials trying to find the tool that will trim lines. Basically I have made several copies of a part and I am trying to cut it apart and put it back together in a slightly different way (co-locating seams with panel lines) but I don't know how to trim lines. Any help or pointing to a tutorial would be appreciated

I think what you're looking for is to edit a path with the node tool. The following "quick guide" has some tips on splitting a path with that tool:
a Quick Guide to Inkscape Otherwise you could try duplicating the object/path and then deleting parts until you have half of what you want, then do it again for the other half. HTH. -- Jim |
