This is a basic World War II era 5 inch HVAR (High Velocity Aircraft Rocket), or sometimes called the “Holy Moses”(supposedly, the exclamation someone made after witnessing the HVAR in action). My 1/24th scale model displays the fin assembly of the USN Mk I rocket, and six or eight of these will look good hanging from any big Hellcat or Corsair model you might have. You can always scale this model down, but it’s pretty small even in 1/24th scale. There are two types of models in the PDF: a static true to scale version, and a stripped down flying version, which can be launch from the end of a compressed air duster used to clean computer keyboards, etc.
Print on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, with no scaling for 1/24th scale. 1 inch scale marks are at the bottom of the page Enjoy! Mike P.S. Let’s be safe out there! No shooting these at someone…and yes, that includes your little brother..... |
