Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter is currently circling Mars observing and acting as a data relay for the Mars Rovers - as it did for the Phoenix polar lander. It's HiRise camera provides extremely high resolution coverage of the Martian surface and was able to image the Phoenix lander inflight during its descent as well as the lander and rovers on the surface. Other instruments are monitoring the weather and searching for signs of water (and other interesting chemicals).

The model is straightforward with good detail - assembly does require one complex folding operation to connect the main bus with the antenna support structure. The large pdf file includes several detailed diagrams of the spacecraft for reference. The complex joint connecting the high gain antenna (HGA) to the mount needs to be carefully reinforced - it can be simplified for a stronger connection without doing violence to the design.
