This model of the Voyager spaceprobe is a straightforward build with good detail. It is not as detailed, nor as difficult, as Ton's superb Voyager model. The model includes an optional kick motor.

Voyager 1 and 2 were launched in 1977 on a "Grand Tour" of the outer planets. After passing Jupiter and Saturn, Voyager 2 continued on to become the first (and only) spacecraft to explore Uranus and Nepture. The Voyager spacecraft are the most distant man-made objects. As of May 2009, Voyager 1 was at a distance of 16.4 billion kilometers (110 Astronomical Units, over 10 billion miles) from the Sun. Voyager 2 was at a distance of 13.3 billion kilometers (89 AU, over 8 billion miles).
