This is a redraw/recolor of Bruno's 1:300 F-16 rescaled to 1:200.

The F-16A/B block 15 was an interceptor variant developped at the end of the cold war to replace the obsolete F-4C/D and remaining F-106A Delta Dart used in this role by the Air National Guard. They were converted from regular F-16A/B block 15 that were being replaced by F-16C/D in active duty units of the USAF. The improved radar allowed them to carry the AIM-7 Sparrow missile and later the AIM-120 AMRAAM. This variant effectively killed any chance the Northrop F-20A Tigershark ever had with the USAF/ANG.

The first unit represented in these files is the 148th FS/162nd FW of the Arizona ANG (not original I know) seen in the mid 2000s. The B model is partially deconverted and is missing the ADF-specific IFF system.

The other unit is the the 159th FS/125th FG, Florida ANG, in the early 90ies. As 159th FIS the squadron converted from the F-106A to the F-16A/B before switching to the ADF variant when it became available. The squadron traded their Vipers for the F-15A/B Eagle in 1995 and converted to the F-15C/D in 2006.

So, for Florida, you get 2 regular F-16A/B from around 1987/1988 and 2 F-16A/B ADF from the early 90ies.

If you want to use the wingtip missiles, remove the original rails on the wings before assembling them.
