Pretty cool model. I liked the detailed engine and the sprung tires.

Peugeot.
A friend of mine, in the '80s, had one (a Peugeot); it made my old Ford seem like a paragon of reliability, and classic '70's Detroit heavy metal would survive an accident better than French tin plate. |

Peugeot is exactly what I was thinking...not sure why I said Volvo.
I knew Trabant didn't seem right. Its funny how bad some cars were, and yet we drove them into the ground. I can remember owning: - a VW with no floor...seriously, no floor under the drivers feet. I rested my left foot on the heater tube, and my right on the center hump. A bitch driving it in through puddles. - a Toyota with no front fenders. Actually, it had fenders...made of cardboard and body filler and black paint. (The car was piss yellow...not sure why I used black paint?!) - a Grand prix, with a large chain bolted to the floor of the Trunk (the Boot) and then looped over the rear Bumper to hold it on the car. A very large chrome and steel Bumper! lol ah times have changed. err sorry...what was this thread about?
