Inside Russian Aerospace Facility
Google takes you inside Research & Development Production Enterprise Zvezda which has displays of space program stuff.
https://www.google.com/maps/@55.6648...2!8i6656?hl=en After touring the building, you can take a walk over to a near by factory and see what is left of the worlds largest helicopter: https://tools.wmflabs.org/geohack/ge..._N_37_55_56_E_ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mil_V-12 It is interesting poking around the back alleys of the post Soviet Union from the comfort of your own home. I wonder of the melons are ripe, and if the place next to the fruit stand has good pirogi's? https://www.google.com/maps/@55.6912...!6m1!1e1?hl=en |

This is cool, John!
I was looking at another virtual tour today of Yellowstone's climbing mountain. I often wonder how Google managed to get these pictures (on the side of a mountain. -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

I think this is still on topic, but did anybody read about russia's space shuttles? I read where there was three of them in a hanger rotting away, and the roof fell in on one of them. Plus I read this article about thier shuttles verse Unuited State's shuttles. Did the Soviets Actually Build a Better Space Shuttle?

I just had that page open yesterday
The roof of the hanger fell in on the original and only one to fly It also killed 8 people!!! There are Two left in another hanger rotting away They are mostly complete, but need restoration work to fly. These 2 never left the hanger after build. The money situatuion after the collapse of Communism left them grounded Here is the page about them; Russia's Haunting Abandoned Space Shuttles
