Japanese woman drives from Okayama to Yonago, a surprisingly safe and relaxing journey

The drivers have been trained to call out and point at potential hazards to demonstrate that they are paying attention to the route.

I thought I was the only one who rides these youtube train voyages. lol
I have wasted so much time criss crossing various countries.

The Japanese trips are some of the most interesting.

Your link caused me to watch six more! including a ride up Pike's peak on the cog railway.
(I was on the Mt Washington railway years ago...it was fun to ride Pike's Peak)

All you need are a couple Eki-ben, and it'll be just like you're sitting there!

@airdave-- They're talking about closing the Piles Peak Cog permanently due to lack of funds. It's a damned shame.

I think her fidgeting is more a sign of stress.
We could guess that she was itchy, needed a bath, or her clothes were new?
But the obsessive behaviours we see from so many Japanese hide a bigger problem.
Japan is known for its suicide rate.

Either that or she was recovering from a karaoke and sake bender the night before?!

...
Is it okay to slightly sidetrack this thread?
I came across a Garden Railway video that just blew me away.

I've seen dozens...I love garden miniature railways...
especially when the camera goes for the ride.

But this one is the most incredible creation.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvoTJa57xGY

You'll need to watch it twice to catch all the details.
The model work is top notch, but the use of rocks and plants is amazing.
Everything is properly scaled to look real and believable.

And trust me, full screen for best effect!

There is also a second video, travelling the entire layout...in the opposite direction!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb5F_9GM_Ic

And, an overall view (aerial) view of the layout and its features.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKqZmC1VF10

Keep in mind, this garden is on Vancouver island....with Vancouver weather!
Rain can be more than 200 days a year!

Wouldn't exactly say "fearless"... it's only 62 mph (100 kph). That's not very fast...

I thought it would be a bullet train or something. Saw a Youtube of someone riding a bullet train in China, now *THAT* was fast... passing train was just *bang* and gone...
Here it is... https://youtu.be/pCAz-kw6WN0

The other train passes it at 3:07 into the video, but don't blink or you'll miss it... 430 kph (267 mph)...

Later! OL J R

Luke - I think she is "fearless" - she is trying to drive a train, scratch and point all at the same time..............

------------------------------

Incidentally, as I am involved with OH&S standards, I went into the pointing bit in more detail as it intrigued me. Quite interesting - and it is claimed it works significantly in reducing accidents.
