Edo Period 3D paper tea house plans
During Edo period and later, Japanese builders used folding 3D paper plans as guide to construction. Like many other Japanese paper models and crafts these are unobtanium, I have found many pictures of unfolded plans and of the folded up plans in an envelope, but no images of the individual pieces from which to construct the plans.
Here is short video of the building plans for a tea-house. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O5PoKDCzTE Assorted Architectural Materials Gallery A4:数寄屋大工 ―美を創é€*ã™ã‚‹åŒ*― Hints for making your own 3D folding plans https://www.takumi-lab.com/2017/02/2...5%B5%E5%9B%B3/ Last edited by John Wagenseil; 01-08-2020 at 05:30 PM. |
