Thumbdog, the Tropfenwagen looks great. Have a copy of the Shell model to use as a help in trying to do a detailed model of the car in 25th scale.....someday.

As you mentioned it .... It's a "Chairmobile" not a carousel, but has anyone ever seen a reasonable card model of one of these? As a wayward yoof in the '50s I used to run "The Chains" in a Traveling Fair, and I've always wanted to add one to my "Chandler's" fairground. I've seen the odd scratch built ones, but never in kit form.

Way way back, I even emailed Toto, but he admitted to borrowing the picture from a comic and he'd never seen a card one either.

I doubt Toto will revive the site. Since he took it down last, he's moved from Rome to Bologna and is now doing furniture restoration. I get emails from him periodically, so if I hear anything new I'll post an update. His site was a unique resource with a wider reach than Patricia's (Agence Eureka).

There are quite a few paper models on Pinterest if you ever go there. The problem is that they're often only thumbnails grabbed from Castle in the Air or ebay listings. Still it's a good place to start. Here's a link to the page I've created of paper models: https://www.pinterest.com/greensfelder/paper-models/

Oh I love exploring Pinterest pages. You click on one thing ... hit the "Visit" button, and before you know it you're in a whole new world. For example, on Tom's Pinterest page I was attracted to a small castle. Not sure why, but medieval castles interest me. any how, I clicked to enlarge it ... saved it ... then clicked visit. This led me to a Google image search showing hundreds of them .... https://www.google.com.co/search?q=c...978;1424&cad=h

So I'm orf exploring ... I may be gone a while.
