Vintage Voiturette Automobile

Here's another vintage kit. Typically simple, but with a little extra fine cutting involved.

I added some heavy card under the main frame section for strength;

I have to say the fit is also typical of the period, less than perfect. But it's not all that bad except for a few spots and goes together well enough;

It's a cute little model with a very definite period feel;

I really like this early artwork. Good fun.

Nice! I have this model too (unbuilt), and have always liked the looks of it. You did a terrific job on it.

That's one of the L'Image Epinal models! You did a beautiful job with the construction. You know, that publisher, which hails from the Epinal region of France, is still in business. You can Google their web page.

Did you put an extra layer between the two sides of the wheels? It looks thicker than double layer, but it might just be my old eyes playing tricks.

That is a very nice looking model. Will you be making the clean version of this available?

I didn't add any layers except for the main frame. I wonder what thickness these models were printed at originally.
The cleanup on this one didn't go as well as I'd have liked. I think I have an older better version sitting on my computer somewhere that I may try and clean up.

The colors are a lot more vivid than on the one I have on my computer. I think you did well on it.

Now where are we on getting Vintage sections added to the forum ... hmmm
