Flying A Pegasus
Some time in the late 1940's or early 1950's, Flying A gasoline put out a paper "Pegasus" glider. Anyone remember this besides me? I have often wondered if any such remain.

Being a Brit, I don't remember them, but Google found it for me.
Easier to find under Mobil than Flying A though.

I was wondering if this was Mobil. I had a collection of glass Pegasus figures when I was very young. I wonder whatever happened to them...

Do a Google Images search for "Mobil Pegasus". They've done some impressive PR stuff over the years.

In the late 1940s, my cousin owned a Mobile gasoline station tucked into a niche on busy Brownsville Road, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. On one side was a white-painted cinder block wall with the Flying Red Horse painted on it. I can still remember it vividly, but don't recall the Pegasus glider, so am glad to see this one.

Thanks!
Big thanks to all who replied. I would never have thought to query it under the Mobil name. Duh!
