Yep, joining the (FREE) Roland Emmett Society unlocked many avenues to explore, but first things first ... a .pdf copy of 'The Emmett Festival Railway' Puffin cut-out book now resides safely on my desktop. All I gotta do now is persuade the medics to sort out my numb fingertips so's I can build it.

Looking at the .pdf it somehow looks very familiar. It can't be a 50+ year old memory. I'll have to check the batch of models from my late Dad's collection. Perhaps I already have it, or have I seen it somewhere else recently?

Toonerville Trolley is very interesting. Have you got a date for it?
While we are on this subject, how can we forget Heath Robinson?

I feel a bit cheated now that a facsimile of the book is available. I thought my model was of some value and I had a case made for it which cost me £50! The original can still be distinguished though - the track bed would be in one piece.
I well remember making it and how long it took. How many 14 year old boys would be bothered to do that today?

I designed a simple Toonerville Trolley about 7 years ago. Here is a picture of it. I will post it if any one want it. Telman

I for one would like it.

Also I got a copy of the Nellie, I did a lot of clean up work and got the sheets best fit for 8 1/2 x 11 letter.
