I toyed a bit with Tom's scans, and tried to clean the images and make the colors pop more.
The result can be seen in the following comparative images.

If Tom approves (since those are his original scans), I could upload the hi-res color-corrected files.

Tom, do you mean cm instead of mm? If mm those would be some very small pages.
Damn that metric system! You're totally right, Doug. Good catch. T

Ruben: personally, I prefer the more muted colors of the original, but that's my own thing. Please feel free to upload the corrected files. One thing, if you could wait on the man on the moon's home until I get you the outside of the sheets with the building instructions. I should be able to do that tomorrow.

Hello friends.

This are the new files of the vintage model Tom Greensfelder scanned and made available a few posts above.

They have been color-corrected to bring back the colors to what I imagine could have been their original bright.

Since the texts of the Moon Palace where originally in Danish, I used an OCR software
and passed them through an on-line translator.

The translation was at times a bit dark, so I used some freedom to adapt the texts
to make them match the illustrations more properly.

Hope you like this little re-working of a beautiful vintage kit.

The other file is the color correction of the Globus model.
I didn't attempt to translate the instructions. But as they are very graphic, any modeler should not have problems with it.

Regards,

Thanks for the color corrected models. I really like the vintage models. It's like having a little souvenir of history.
