I had seen some of those models before. They were printed as part of a magazine, fairly big size. I wonder if they were printed on special (heavy) paper? Has anyone actually ever had an original copy in his hands?

The 'Illustreret Familie-Journal' was first published in Denmark in 1877; Swedish and Norwegian editions soon followed. The journal is still very much alive. These pictures are from the Danish version.
