Newly restored Christmas Automata
I love automata! Christmas is around the corner and these three prints capture the essence of the thrill of the Holiday! Now, the French conceptualization in these prints predates Coke's Haddon Sundbloom imagery by at least 40 years and probably more.
I have provided English translations where needed. In the case of Noel, an Epinal print, the original provided by Diderick A. den Bakker, here is the appropriate translation: "Open curved channels and black dots associated with letters or numbers. The parts, after the black dots have been opened and cut, are connected to the drawbar and to each other at the marked points matching corresponding letters or numbers. Attach the parts with a double knotted string or, even better, Parisian staples (round head paper fastener)"

I have been looking for the Pellerin Noel for quite some time. I went to the download section but it appears that you forget to upload the files. I could not find any way to download this sheet

In addition, I'll be do a build on the model as the animation system is seemingly complex with all the dots, letters & numbers.

Thanks, Rick! As it turns out, I am redoing Noel. I printed it...really big...in color to do a build thread but, I was not happy with some of the colors. So, I redid the redo. LOL! As soon as I prep it, I'll resubmit. If you have any problems at that time, I'll go through you as you suggested.
