Fisherman's game, translation help requested
Hi all,
I have one of the kits/games/toys which I downloaded from Patricia's Pillipat photostream on Flickr. I have been able to translate some of the text, and I understand what I need to do in order to glue up the fisherman, fish, and the base. But I am having a harder time understanding what I need to do make the base spin. I would like to ask some of our French friends to help me out, and translate some of the directions, especially those dealing with the movement of the disk Rick p.s. I have attached the image I saved from Patricia, and here is the link to the image in the photostream https://www.flickr.com/photos/taffet...n/photostream/

I have been looking at the words beneath the disc and have come up with this:
Le fecheur sera colle en CD sur le disque ci-dessus. Un fil reliant le point noir du gilet au point noir du triangel E. Lui fermeltra de lever sa ligne lorsquon fera pression sur ce fil le disque pivotera autour de la punaise F. The fisherman will be sticking to CD on the disc above. A wire connecting the black point of the vest to the black point of triangle E. He will close his line when pushing on this wire the disc will rotate around the pin F. I do not see a designation for a pin F for the disc to rotate around. To tell the truth I have also been wondering how they knew about CDs back then. Hopefully someone else will come up with another translation that will be of better help.

Good translation Doug!
CD are the points on the disc where the fisherman's feet (C and D) are attached. Point F will be the point around which the legs and body rotate. Rickstef - reading through the rest and given the above, it appears the assembly may be as follows......
Interesting find!
