I don't know about heroic, but it is a bit daunting. Originally, I was hoping the list was already out there somewhere. I started a Google spreadsheet with several hundred entries so far. It would be nice to incorporate small reference thumbnails of each (I have found "only" 700 or so at this point).

Marvin: it would be great to have a definitive list of all the Epinals. I'm attaching a pdf of the ones in my collection, about 400. Maybe they'll fill in some gaps for you. If you'd like thumbnails of any of them, let me know. Best, Tom
