Imagerie d'Epinal catalog

Has anyone ever compiled a complete catalog of the Pellerin paper models? I have tried, but have a lot of missing numbers between #1 and #1400 (probably half of them). Maybe there is a book out there with a list?

Never seen anything, but a catalogue is a good idea.

You can check this site out. Lots of religious junk there too but some great pages of modles as well.

Thanks. Part of the problem with finding the construction models (my interest) is that Pellerin produced so many different sheets of illustrations, such as historical, religious, scientific or military subjects, not to mention paper dolls and other similar cut-outs. They also used the same numbers more than once for different subjects. Confusing to say the least.

I will start a list and see what happens.

Yes, something like that. I don't really want to do the whole thing myself!

I used to have a link to a paper model site that was in both english and french where some free original paper models were offered. There was a page with a listing and some thumbnails of quite a few imagerie d'epinal models.

The only thing I remember is the name Pierre.

Maybe this helps.

A cataloging effort is a good idea. I have not seen a listing of them with the numbers and subject matter.

Patricia M has a Flickr site with many of them.
Patricia M Flickr Imagerie d'Epinal
You could check it out and see if there are any on that site that you do not have.

Edit:
Found this listing on the Metropolitan Museum of Art site:
Images d'Êpinal. 2 Vols.,n.d. Published by Imagerie d'Épinal, Pellerin & Cie. French
That would be a good book to get. There does not seem to be much information about the book on the MMoA site.

Some years ago I spent many hours compiling a list, where possible with pictures, using all sorts of sources on the internet. If more people prove interested, I would consider adding a page to my website - people could then easily add missing data. Could be a nice project? Looking forward to reactions and useful suggestions, here or via pm.

Here is a pdf with some of the Imagerie D'Epinal Pellerin paper models I have found. The titles are from the sheets. I did not always include the diacritical marks in the titles. I did not see any size indicators for 114 and 1375.
I have the list as a table in a docx file and as an excel file.
