Thanks for the clarification, Rob. In fact, when I started going through my archive, I found a scan of the same model somewhere identifying it as coming from the Allers Familie Journal.

I'm in the process of putting together as many of the series as I can. I've found quite a few of the missing ones on the AGK site. Unfortunately, they're quite low rez and the color balance is way off.

I've started doing the best I can to restore them to a usable level. Here's my first attempt with the Leaning Tower of Pisa (NG V).

When I'm done I'll put the whole collection together in a file in the downloads section.

Here is what I come up with doing my clean up procedure.

Thanks, sir. Until AEP is over, I don't have much time for anything more than keeping up with forums, and I am not doing very well at that. Thanks again

SCEtoAUX... a much brighter version for sure. But we're both still stuck with the lack of resolution and the uneven exposure. Fortunately, I reached out to Francesc Lopez Sala and it looks like he'll be able to fill in all the missing models. Here's a sample of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. So far, all the others he's sent are the same quality.

Yes, that is good news! Getting back to what started this thread: the matchbox series. Tom, would Francesc happen to have those models as well?

Tektonten: I'll ask him. I have good copies of I, II, V, and VIII and so-so copies of the rest. If he doesn't have any, I'll fix the bad ones up as best I can.
